Semblance Studios creates original custom artwork for hospitality, commercial and interior-led projects.

It interprets the client's brief, space, aesthetic direction and practical requirements, then develops distinctive project-specific artworks under Gavin Goodman's direct creative oversight.

Adaptation, licensing and placement of existing artwork are established parts of the commercial offer.

Differentiation

Semblance offers one authored creative eye across briefs that may require materially different visual outcomes.

Gavin Goodman's experience across commercial image-making and fine art, including recognition as a Hasselblad Master, supports the credibility of that creative judgement. It is evidence of quality, not the primary differentiator.

Rather than achieving range through a roster of artists, Semblance develops distinct bodies of work under the direction of one Creative Director. This gives curators access to varied aesthetic directions while managing one creative relationship and one point of responsibility.

The Meyer Werft cruise project demonstrates this model in practice. Four distinct bodies of work were created for one vessel: cinematic figurative artworks, photographic portraits with architectural headpieces, painterly florals and minimal playing-card compositions.

Do not imply responsibility for printing, fabrication, shipping, compliance or installation unless confirmed in a specific project scope.

Do not imply that Semblance represents a roster of artists. Broad visual range must be presented truthfully as work led by one Creative Director.
