Rockefeller Hotel, Cape TownLarge-scale placementArtwork across 400 roomsRockefeller came directly through Gavin's personal network rather than a procurement or design firm. It is a local Cape Town project. The local market is not a current focus, so this project functions as portfolio evidence of large-scale placement rather than as an indication of active market direction.

Additional verified project evidence

Artlink selected existing works from the broader Ensundu series that were not included in Gavin Goodman's official gallery catalogue.

The artworks were adapted for the project, including changes to their backgrounds and presentation, before being prepared for final production.

The completed works were licensed for approximately 2,000 state-room reproductions.

This project provides verified evidence that adaptation and high-volume licensing of existing artwork are established commercial services within Semblance, rather than incidental placements.

The project is not currently part of the public launch portfolio. Any future public use must be confirmed separately.

Approval-pending

Saatchi / Florida Hotel is complete but must not be mentioned publicly until client approval is confirmed.

Use in positioning

The project set proves range more effectively than a claim of versatility:

  • historical fashion-inspired hotel portraits
  • large-format illustrative traveller works
  • photographic portraiture
  • botanical and casino-themed cruise artwork
  • existing-work placements in hospitality environments
  • adaptation and high-volume licensing of existing artwork

The current public portfolio demonstrates a broad range of work, but the client base remains concentrated. BoTree, Meyer Werft and the recent adaptation project all came through Artlink. This distinction should remain visible when assessing client acquisition priorities.
